Summary: This paper will present the study of the international laws that protect the environment and water resources to discuss the importance of water protection in the international scenario, using reports and scientidic studies of international entities related to the United Nations, in order to highlight the relevanceof the protection of waters as a human right and demonstrating their presence in cases of international courts.
