Fake news: a discursive perspective approach in online dictionaries

Resumo: In this essay, we have proposed a reflection about the fake news as a discursive way and also thinking on its wide circulation in online dictionaries, aiming to comprehend the  production of senses into the lexicographer’s subject in relationship with language and the conditions of production with a particular memory network. For that, we take the word fake news as a fact of language, an event and, above all, a symbolic materiality, since, discursively, what matters is not the event itself, the empirical event, but the event, as historical fact, the result of an interpretation.Therefore, we have been based on the theory of French Discourse Analysis which is based on Pêcheux (2012; 2014a; 2014b; 2014c), and Orlandi (1998; 2000; 2007; 2013), in a dialogue with the History of the Linguistics Ideas (AUROUX, 1992; NUNES, 2006, and BARBAI, 2015), the  ones  that allow us reading  the dictionaries in a specific way, as historical objects.

Para tanto, tomamos a palavra fake news como um fato de linguagem, um acontecimento e, sobretudo, uma materialidade simbólica, uma vez que, discursivamente, o que importa não é o acontecimento em si, o evento empírico, mas sim o acontecimento, enquanto ato histórico, resultado de uma interpretação. Pautamo-nos, então, na teoria da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa com base em Pêcheux (2012; 2014a; 2014b; 2014c) e Orlandi (1998; 2000; 2007; 2013), em um diálogo com a História das Ideias Linguísticas  (AUROUX, 1992; NUNES, 2006 e BARBAI, 2015), que nos propiciam ler os dicionários de um modo particular, enquanto objetos históricos.Neste estudo propomos uma reflexão sobre a discursividade fake news, pensando sua ampla circulação nos dicionários online, objetivando compreender a produção dos sentidos na relação do sujeito lexicógrafo com a língua, com as condições de produção e com uma determinada rede de memória.
