Resumo: The species has a uniseriate epidermis and the cuticle is relatively thickened. Still in the epidermis, we can observe the stomata on the same level as the other cells and depressions containing glandular trichomes are also observed. The mesophyll tends to be dorsiventral and observing the occurrence of a hypodermis. Sclerified cells groups are observed in the regions adjacent to adaxial and abaxial epidermis and partially surrounding the phloem and xylem. The vascular bundles are collateral type and have different calibers. Keywords: Anatomy; orchids; terrestrial.
