Tocantins Military Police of Inactivity: Need for Regulation of Veteran's Day

Resumo: This scientific work aimed to show the challenges that can be faced by the military police throughout their career and the importance of this professional who was transferred to the paid reserve or was retired for having acquired pathology due to the legal fulfillment of his duties in the Police Military of the State of Tocantins (PMTO) in defense of the society of Tocantins. In the end, it was proposed the elaboration of a draft State Law Project in order to recognize and institute the Military Police Veteran's Day. The present proposal, when put into practice, will provide more recognition, prestige, appreciation and approximation of the military police officer with fellow members of the Institution who are in active service. Thus, if this proposal is instituted, it will be a way to annually honor the aforementioned professionals who, even at the risk of their own lives, dedicated themselves to the benefit of Tocantins society and left legacies for the Corporation's history. In the work methodology, applied, descriptive, exploratory, bibliographical and documentary research was used, using the deductive method and carried out a qualitative approach. Therefore, the research concluded that the PMTO needs to prepare a draft State Law Project and manage with the Executive and Legislative Power of the State of Tocantins so that the Day of Military Police Veteran is instituted.

Militar del Estado de Tocantins (PMTO) en defensa de la sociedad de Tocantins. Al final, se propuso la elaboración de un Anteproyecto de Ley del Estado para reconocer e instituir el Día del Veterano de la Policía Militar. La presente propuesta, una vez puesta en práctica, otorgará mayor reconocimiento, prestigio, aprecio y acercamiento al oficial de la Policía Militar con los compañeros de la Institución que se encuentren en servicio activo. Así, si se instituye esta propuesta, será una forma de honrar anualmente a los profesionales antes mencionados que, aun a riesgo de su propia vida, se dedicaron al beneficio de la sociedad de Tocantins y dejaron legados para la historia de la Corporación. En la metodología de trabajo se utilizó la investigación aplicada, descriptiva, exploratoria, bibliográfica y documental, utilizando el método deductivo y un enfoque cualitativo. Por ello, la investigación concluyó que la PMTO necesita elaborar un anteproyecto de Ley del Estado y gestionar con el Poder Ejecutivo y Legislativo del Estado de Tocantins para que se instituya el Día del Veterano de la Policía Militar.O presente trabalho científico teve como propósito mostrar os desafios que podem ser enfrentados pelo policial militar ao longo da carreira e a importância desse profissional que foi transferido para a reserva remunerada ou foi reformado por ter adquirido patologia em razão do cumprimento legal de suas atribuições na Polícia Militar do Estado do Tocantins (PMTO) em defesa da sociedade tocantinense. Ao final, foi proposto a elaboração de uma minuta de Projeto de Lei Estadual a fim de que seja reconhecido e instituído o Dia do Veterano Policial Militar. A presente proposta, quando colocada em prática, irá proporcionar mais reconhecimento, prestígio, valorização e aproximação do policial militar junto aos companheiros da Instituição que se encontram no serviço ativo. Assim, caso seja instituído essa proposta, será uma forma de homenagear anualmente os aludidos profissionais que mesmo com o risco da própria vida se dedicaram em prol da sociedade tocantinense e deixaram legados para a história da Corporação. Na metodologia do trabalho foi utilizada a pesquisa de natureza aplicada, descritiva, exploratória, bibliográfica e documental, utilizando-se do método dedutivo e realizada uma abordagem qualitativa.
