Work and education in Karl Marx: the contradiction of intellectual and manual labor in the educational process

Resumo: The aim of this paper is to understand the relationship between work and education in Marxist thought, especially from the intellectual and manual division of labor. The research is theoretical and seeks to develop an analysis of the categories work and education in the writings of Karl Marx, so the research method is the Marxist dialectical method. The work does not focus on a specific literature of Marx, because the theme is diluted in its various texts, requiring the reading of some of his works and even other Marxists who contributed to the theory. The centrality in Marx's thought is work, which in turn is an educational process. Work in Marxist theory is a fundamental condition for the constitution of being as a social being. It seeks to understand and define education in the field of fighting classes. It is the institution by which the ruling class conveys their ideologies. However, dialectically education can make a very significant contribution to the process of liberation and class organization of the oppressed.

La investigación es teórica y busca desarrollar un análisis de las categorías trabajo y educación en los escritos de Karl Marx, por lo que el método de investigación es el método dialéctico marxista. El trabajo no se centra en una literatura específica de Marx, porque el tema se diluye en sus diversos textos, lo que requiere la lectura de algunas de sus obras e incluso de otros marxistas que contribuyeron a la teoría. La centralidad en el pensamiento de Marx es el trabajo, que a su vez es un proceso educativo. El trabajo en la teoría marxista es una condición fundamental para la constitución del ser como ser social. Busca comprender y definir la educación en el campo de las clases de lucha. Es la institución por la cual la clase dominante transmite sus ideologías. Sin embargo, dialécticamente la educación puede hacer una contribución muy significativa al proceso de liberación y organización de clase de los oprimidos.Pretende-se com o artigo compreender a relação trabalho e educação no pensamento marxista principalmente tendo como ponto de partida a divisão intelectual e manual do trabalho. O artigo é de cunho teórico e busca desenvolver uma análise das categorias trabalho e educação nos escritos de Karl Marx, portanto, o método de pesquisa é o método dialético marxista. O trabalho não foca numa literatura específica de Marx, pois o tema está diluído em seus diversos textos, sendo necessária a leitura de algumas de suas obras e até mesmo de outros marxistas que contribuíram com a teoria. A centralidade no pensamento de Marx é o trabalho, que por sua vez, é um processo educativo. O trabalho na teoria marxista é condição fundamental para a constituição do ser enquanto ser social. Procura-se entender e definir a educação no campo da luta classes. Ela é a instituição pela qual a classe dominante transmite suas ideologias.
