Resumo: Objective: To map technologies for the prevention and intervention of incidents of falls in hospitalized newborns. Method: Scope review protocol, based on the Joanna Briggs Institute Manual and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Scoping Review checklist. Eligibility criteria were defined as studies that address technologies for prevention and intervention in incidents of falls in hospitalized newborns, published at any time in scientific journals, government websites and/or representative health entities. A detailed search strategy will be used for the Virtual Health Library, PubMed, Scopus and Cinahl databases and/or databases. Titles and abstracts will be screened by two reviewers, who will read the full texts and extract data from the included material, after which a synthesis of the evidence found will be made, to be presented in narrative form, tables, charts and/or images, as a form of to answer the previously defined research question and facilitate the reader's understanding of the research topic.

Método: Protocolo de revisión del alcance, basado en el Manual del Instituto Joanna Briggs, que cumple con la lista de verificación Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Scoping Review. Los criterios de elegibilidad se definieron como estudios que aborden tecnologías para la prevención e intervención en incidentes de caídas en recién nacidos hospitalizados, publicados en cualquier momento en revistas científicas, sitios web gubernamentales y/o entidades representativas de la salud. Se utilizará una estrategia de búsqueda detallada para las bases de datos y/o bases de datos de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, PubMed, Scopus y Cinahl. Los títulos y resúmenes serán tamizados por dos revisores, quienes leerán los textos completos y extraerán datos del material incluido, luego de lo cual se realizará una síntesis de la evidencia encontrada, para ser presentada en forma narrativa, tablas, cuadros y/o imágenes. , como una forma de dar respuesta a la pregunta de investigación previamente definida y facilitar al lector la comprensión del tema de investigación.Objetivo: Mapear as tecnologias para prevenção e intervenção de incidentes de quedas em recém-nascidos hospitalizados. Método: Protocolo de revisão de escopo, conduzido com base no Manual do Instituto Joanna Briggs, atendendo ao checklist Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Scoping Review. Foram definidos como critérios de elegibilidade estudos que abordem tecnologias para prevenção e intervenção nos incidentes de quedas em recém-nascidos hospitalizados, publicados em qualquer período em revistas científicas, sites governamentais e/ou de entidades representativas da saúde. Utilizar-se-á uma estratégia de busca detalhada para as bases e/ou bancos de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, PubMed, Scopus e Cinahl.
