In search of meanings to Statistical Education in Child Education: dialogues with a researcher

Resumo: In the search for an approximation between Statistical Education and Early Childhood Education, we aim to: 1) identify articles published in editions of scientific events in the area of ​​Mathematics Education to characterize practices to be developed (2013-2017); and 2) to establish points of articulation of the theme investigated from the perception of Professor Celi Espasandin Lopes, a reference in Brazil when the subject is Stochastic in childhood. The methodology fits in the qualitative studies in which a questionnaire with open questions to the researcher was used. In conclusion, we identified: a) few theoretical and methodological references to guide the teacher on the notions of Statistics and Probability with the child; and b) the need for studies/research, in interventional experiences, to assist teachers and future teachers to work with these concepts.

La metodología se ajusta a los estudios cualitativos en los que se utilizó un cuestionario con preguntas abiertas al investigador. En conclusión, identificamos: a) pocas referencias teóricas y metodológicas para guiar al maestro sobre las nociones de estadística y probabilidad con el niño; y b) la necesidad de estudios/investigación, en experiencias de intervención, para ayudar a los maestros y futuros maestros a trabajar con estos conceptos.Na busca por uma aproximação entre Educação Estatística e Educação Infantil, objetivamos: 1) identificar artigos publicados em edições de eventos científicos da área da Educação Matemática para caracterizar práticas a serem desenvolvidas (2013-2017); e 2) estabelecer pontos de articulação da temática investigada a partir a percepção da professora Celi Espasandin Lopes, referência no Brasil quando o assunto é Estocástica na infância. A metodologia se enquadra nos estudos qualitativos em que se utilizou questionário com perguntas abertas à pesquisadora.
