Resumo: The general objective of the literature review is to highlight the importance of nutritional follow-up of pregnant women undergoing HIV/AIDS treatment.  This research is exploratory research carried out through a review of the literature.  The strategy elaborated for inclusion in this research were: a study published in journals indexed in English, Espanhol and Portuguese, available in full, free of charge, that addressed the subject. In which they were duly published in the period 2017 to 2022.  It is concluded that the nutritional follow-up of pregnant women with HIV/AIDS is fundamental because it is a phase in which the patient is in a very delicate stage of her life and her metabolic process is modified and, therefore, in need of a differentiated nutritional contribution. Therefore, it is important that women have a diet containing the necessary energy and at least the minimum amounts of nutrients that ensure the maintenance of maternal health and optimal fetal growth and development.
