A ludic way to relate Poetry and Science

Resumo: This paper explores the poetry within poems by Carlos Drummond de Andrade as a tool for science learning and is a an outcome of the association of Memorial Carlos Drummond de Andrade from Itabira-MG and the Grupo de Educação Tutorial Conexões de Saberes em Física e Popularização da Ciência. The work consisted on the interpretation and contextualization of the rich vocabulary of the poems and on the presentation of scientific experiments related to parts of the poems to an audience formed by students and teachers of schools in the city and region. The proposed work stimulated the students' interaction and the comprehension the physical phenomena in a ludic way. The paper highlights the positive results regarding the interdisciplinarity between science and literature, the improvement of the perceived value of the local culture, as well as the teaching of experimental practice in a pleasant way for learning. These results reinforce the importance of Art and Physics as a language for cultural development.

El trabajo consistió en interpretar y contextualizar el rico vocabulario de los poemas y exponer experimentos científicos relacionados con extractos del poema a una audiencia formada por estudiantes y profesores de escuelas de la ciudad y región. La propuesta de trabajo estimuló la interacción de los estudiantes y la comprensión de los fenómenos científicos de forma lúdica. Se enfatizan los resultados positivos asociados a la interdisciplinariedad entre las ciencias y la literatura, el fomento de la cultura local y la experimentación, enseñada de forma amena, que facilita el aprendizaje. Estos resultados refuerzan la importancia del Arte y la Ciencia (Física) como lenguaje para el desarrollo cultural de la sociedad.Este artigo explora a poesia de poemas de Carlos Drummond de Andrade como aliada no ensino de ciências e surgiu da parceria entre o Memorial Carlos Drummond de Andrade da cidade de Itabira-MG e o grupo de educação tutorial Conexões de Saberes em Física e Popularização da Ciência da Unifei-Itabira. O trabalho consistiu na interpretação e contextualização do rico vocabulário dos poemas e na exposição de experimentos científicos relacionados a trechos do poema à uma plateia formada por alunos e professores de escolas da cidade e região.  A proposta do trabalho estimulou a interação dos alunos e a compreensão de fenômenos científicos de maneira lúdica. Ressaltam-se os resultados positivos associados à interdisciplinaridade entre ciências e literatura, ao estímulo à cultura local e à experimentação, ensinada de forma prazerosa, o que facilita o aprendizado.
