Resumo: Objective: analyze the spatio-temporal distribution of Chikungunya fever incidence in Pernambuco state, Brazil. Method: the database was composed by Chikungunya fever epidemiological records in 2018, available through the Aggravation Notification Information System (SINAN) of Public Health Secretariat for Pernambuco State. The global and local Moran Index were used to assess Chikungunya spatial autocorrelation. Results: spatial distribution of Chikungunya fever clinical picture showed high concentration in state coast, with greater frequency and incidence rate in Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Escada municipalities. Clusters with positive spatial autocorrelation were formed between Cabo de Santo Agostinho and Vitoria de Santo Antão municipalities, revealing similar incidences. Conclusion: spatial analysis allowed to outline the epidemiological scenario for Chikungunya fever incidence, in 2018, consisting a tool capable of guiding strategic planning for epidemic control in Pernambuco.

Se utilizó el Índice de Moran global y local para evaluar la autocorrelación espacial de Chikungunya. Resultados: la distribución espacial de los cuadros clínicos de la fiebre Chikungunya demostrado una alta concentración en la costa del estado, con mayor frecuencia e índice de incidencia en los municipios de Cabo de Santo Agostinho y Escada. Hubo formação de clusters com autocorrelação espacial positiva entre os municípios de Cabo de Santo Agostinho y Vitória de Santo Antão, revelando incidencias similares. Conclusión: el análisis espacial permitió delinear el escenario epidemiológico para la incidencia de la fiebre Chikungunya, en 2018, constituyendo una herramienta capaz de guiar la planificación estratégica en el control de epidemias en Pernambuco.Objetivo: analisar a distribuição espaço-temporal da incidência de febre Chikungunya no estado de Pernambuco, Brasil. Método: a base de dados foi composta pelos registros epidemiológicos sobre incidência de febre Chikungunya em 2018, disponibilizado através do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde Pública do Estado do Pernambuco. Utilizaram-se o Índice de Moran global e local para avaliar a autocorrelação espacial da Chikungunya. Resultados: a distribuição espacial dos quadros clínicos de febre Chikungunya demonstrou concentração elevada no litoral do estado, com maior frequência e taxa de incidência nos municípios do Cabo de Santo Agostinho e Escada. Houve formação de clusters com autocorrelação espacial positiva entre os municípios do Cabo de Santo Agostinho e Vitoria de Santo Antão, revelando incidências semelhantes.
