Resumo: The objective was to report the interdisciplinary care of a mental health case that occurred in an emergency care unit. This article is an experience report on the work developed by two PET-Health/Interprofessionality preceptors who work in an emergency care unit, located in the interior of Minas Gerais, in the face of a mental health case. The methodology used was bibliographic research and experience reporting. This is a descriptive report of retrospective and innovative experience because it makes it possible to go through the theme of interprofessionality, added to the considerations about the care and care offered to mental health patients in the city. It is perceived the importance of careful looking at issues involving mental health, because they present situations that involve suffering, misadjustments, anxieties, difficulties in finding solutions or following guidelines.

Este artículo es un relato de experiencia sobre el trabajo desarrollado por dos preceptores PET-Salud/Interprofesionalidad que trabajan en una unidad de atención de emergencias, ubicada en el interior de Minas Gerais, ante un caso de salud mental. La metodología utilizada fue la investigación bibliográfica y la presentación de informes de experiencia. Se trata de un informe descriptivo de experiencia retrospectiva e innovadora porque permite pasar por el tema de la interprofesionalidad, sumado a las consideraciones sobre el cuidado y la atención ofrecida a los pacientes de salud mental en la ciudad. Se percibe la importancia de examinar cuidadosamente los problemas relacionados con la salud mental, porque presentan situaciones que implican sufrimiento, desajustes, ansiedades, dificultades para encontrar soluciones o seguir directrices.Objetivou-se relatar o atendimento interdisciplinar de um caso de saúde mental ocorrido em uma unidade de pronto atendimento. Este artigo trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre o trabalho desenvolvido por dois preceptores do PET-Saúde/Interprofissionalidade que atuam numa unidade de pronto atendimento, localizada no interior de Minas Gerais, diante de um caso de saúde mental. A metodologia utilizada foi de pesquisa bibliográfica e relato de experiência. Trata-se de um relato descritivo de experiência retrospectivo e inovador por possibilitar transcorrer sobre o tema da interprofissionalidade, somado às considerações sobre o atendimento e o cuidado oferecido aos pacientes de saúde mental do município.
