Nursing care for patients with acute myocardial infarction

Resumo: | Infarction is a pathology that still affects millions of the population. The present study aimed to describe nursing care for patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, as well as reporting nursing care for patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and discussing the pathophysiology triggered by this pathology. Methodologically, it is a literature review in the narrative style with a search for articles published between 2007 and 2016, indexed in the databases, Recien, Reufpi, SciELO, Bireme, Lilacs, etc. As a result, nursing diagnoses support the analysis of direct and indirect responses to myocardial infarction. The nursing conduct for the infarcted patient requires training and technical competence for detection and immediate action in this situation. The conclusion of this study shows that nursing actions towards patients with AMI are indispensable, but that these actions are more effective when there is a joint action of multiprofessionals working in the promotion, prevention, interventions and assistance to avoid complications and aggravation of the disease. This study demonstrates the importance of nursing care in the face of this problem, as well as supporting new research in the academic area to strengthen and reflect on health professionals. |

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo describir los cuidados de enfermería a los pacientes con diagnóstico de infarto agudo de miocardio, así como relatar los cuidados de enfermería a los pacientes con diagnóstico de infarto agudo de miocardio y discutir la fisiopatología desencadenada por esa patología. Metodológicamente se trata de una revisión bibliográfica en estilo narrativo con búsqueda de artículos publicados entre 2007 y 2016, indexados en las bases de datos, Recien, Reufpi, SciELO, Bireme, Lilacs, etc. Como resultado, los diagnósticos de enfermería apoyan el análisis de las respuestas directas e indirectas al infarto de miocardio. La conducta de enfermería ante el paciente infartado requiere entrenamiento y competencia técnica para la detección y actuación inmediata en esta situación. La conclusión de este estudio muestra que las acciones de enfermería frente a los pacientes con IAM son indispensables, pero que estas acciones son más eficaces cuando hay una acción conjunta de multiprofesionales que trabajan en la promoción, prevención, intervenciones y asistencia para evitar complicaciones y agravamiento de la enfermedad. Este estudio demuestra la importancia del cuidado de enfermería frente a esta problemática, además de sustentar nuevas investigaciones en el área académica para fortalecer y reflexionar sobre los profesionales de la salud.O infarto é uma patologia que afeta ainda milhões da população. O presente estudo objetivou descrever a assistência de enfermagem ao paciente com diagnóstico de infarto agudo do miocárdio, bem como relatar assistência de enfermagem ao paciente com diagnóstico de infarto agudo do miocárdio e discorrer sobre a fisiopatologia desencadeada nesta patologia. Metodologicamente trata-se de uma revisão da literatura no estilo narrativo com busca dos artigos publicados entre 2007 a 2016, indexados nas bases de dados, Recien, Reufpi, SciELO, Bireme, Lilacs, etc. Como resultados, os diagnósticos de enfermagem corroboram para análise das respostas diretas e indiretas ao infarto do miocárdio. A conduta de enfermagem ao paciente infartado exige capacitação e competência técnica para detecção e atuação imediata nesta situação. A conclusão deste estudo mostra que as ações de enfermagem frente a pacientes com IAM são indispensáveis, mas que essas ações são mais eficazes quando há uma ação conjunta de multiprofissionais atuando na promoção, prevenção, intervenções e assistência para evitar complicações e agravamento da doença.
