Analysis on educational assessment, SAEB and awareness-raising of integrated high school students in the context of the brazilian educational system

Resumo: | Institutional assessments are instruments widely used in the educational context in order to demonstrate results obtained or imminent needs for adjustments or various corrections, through the analysis of the indicators they represent. In Brazil, we have the SAEB – Basic Education Assessment System, which evaluates the education offered at primary and secondary levels, in addition to early childhood education. This is a critical analysis of the study called “Educational Assessment, SAEB and awareness of integrated high school students for their importance in the context of the Brazilian educational system”, prepared as a requirement for the completion of an academic Master's degree at IFMT. More specifically, this work sought to present the study carried out, its difficulties and successes and critically analyze its execution. Methodologically, the research consists of applying questionnaires, in two stages that are distinguished by the intervention carried out through the use of the educational product developed. The educational product elaborated in the dissertation was a Podcast, a digital audio media tool, with low financial cost and easy and fast access. This Podcast was structured with the intention of providing students with information about the SAEB in a simple and practical way, and for its validation, a comparative analysis was carried out between the mentioned instruments applied to the study participants. |

En Brasil, contamos con el SAEB – Sistema de Evaluación de la Educación Básica, que evalúa la oferta educativa en los niveles de primaria y secundaria, además de la educación inicial. Se trata de un análisis crítico del estudio denominado “Evaluación Educativa, SAEB y sensibilización de los estudiantes de secundaria integrados por su importancia en el contexto del sistema educativo brasileño”, elaborado como requisito para la finalización de una Maestría académica en la IFMT. Más específicamente, este trabajo buscó presentar el estudio realizado, sus dificultades y aciertos y analizar críticamente su ejecución. Metodológicamente, la investigación consiste en la aplicación de cuestionarios, en dos etapas que se distinguen por la intervención que se realiza a través del uso del producto educativo desarrollado. El producto educativo elaborado en la disertación fue un Podcast, una herramienta de medios de audio digital, de bajo costo económico y de fácil y rápido acceso. Este Podcast se estructuró con la intención de brindar a los estudiantes información sobre el SAEB de una manera sencilla y práctica, y para su validación se realizó un análisis comparativo entre los instrumentos mencionados aplicados a los participantes del estudio. As avaliações institucionais são instrumentos amplamente utilizados no contexto educacional a fim de demonstrarem resultados obtidos ou necessidades eminentes de ajustes ou correções diversas, através da análise dos indicadores que representam. No Brasil temos o SAEB – Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica, que avalia a educação ofertada nos níveis fundamental e médio, além da educação infantil. Trata-se de uma análise crítica sobre o estudo denominado “Avaliação educacional, SAEB e sensibilização dos alunos do ensino médio integrado para a sua importância no contexto do sistema educacional brasileiro”, elaborado como quesito para a conclusão de Mestrado acadêmico no IFMT. Mais especificamente, este trabalho procurou apresentar o estudo realizado, suas dificuldades e sucessos e analisar criticamente sua execução. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa consiste em aplicação questionários, em duas etapas que se distinguem pela intervenção realizada através do uso do produto educacional elaborado. O produto educacional elaborado na dissertação foi um Podcast, uma ferramenta de mídia digital de áudio, com baixo custo financeiro e de acesso fácil e rápido. Este Podcast foi estruturado com a intenção de entregar aos alunos informação sobre o SAEB de maneira simples e prática, e para sua validação realizou-se a análise comparativa entre os mencionados instrumentos aplicados aos participantes do estudo.
