Adhesion of orthodontic devices using Transbond ™ Plus Color Change hydrophilic adhesive and Cyanoacrylate adhesives for orthodontic traction of impacted teeth

Resumo: Taking into account the existing problems in orthodontic traction procedures for impacted teeth regarding the fixation and maintenance of orthodontic pieces to the dental element, in view of the peculiarities of the oral environment, considering this, the present study aims to evaluate, through the review of the literature, bonding of orthodontic devices using Transbond™ Plus Color Change 3M hydrophilic adhesive and cyanoacrylate-based adhesives. In the present work, the literature review method was used with the theme Adhesion of orthodontic devices using hydrophilic adhesive Transbond™ Plus Color Change 3M and adhesives based on cyanoacrylate. Consequently, a search was performed in the databases MEDLINE, Portal BVS, Scielo and LILACS, between the years of 2012 and 2021, in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Right after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, twelve articles were selected. Given the above, it can be concluded that the bond strength of orthodontic devices using hydrophilic adhesive Transbond™ Plus Color Change 3M and cyanoacrylate-based adhesives varied in the studies, which can be explained by the methodological differences observed in these studies.

En el presente trabajo se utilizó el método de revisión de la literatura con el tema Adhesión de dispositivos de ortodoncia mediante el adhesivo hidrófilo Transbond ™ Plus Color Change 3M y adhesivos a base de cianoacrilato. Por tanto, se realizó una búsqueda en las bases de datos MEDLINE, Portal BVS, Scielo y LILACS, entre 2012 y 2021, en portugués, inglés o español. Poco después de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se seleccionaron doce artículos. Dado lo anterior, se puede concluir que la fuerza de unión de los dispositivos de ortodoncia que utilizan el adhesivo hidrófilo Transbond ™ Plus Color Change 3M y los adhesivos a base de cianoacrilato varió en los estudios, lo que puede explicarse por las diferencias metodológicas observadas en estos estudios.Tendo em vista a problemática existente nos procedimentos de tracionamento ortodôntico de dentes impactados quanto a fixação e manutenção das peças ortodônticas ao elemento dentário, tendo em vista as peculiaridades do meio bucal, considerando isso, o objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar, por meio da revisão da literatura, a adesão de dispositivos ortodônticos utilizando adesivo hidrofílico Transbond™ Plus Color Change 3M e adesivos à base de cianoacrilato. No presente trabalho foi utilizado o método de revisão de literatura com o tema Adesão de dispositivos ortodônticos utilizando adesivo hidrofílico Transbond™ Plus Color Change 3M e adesivos à base de cianoacrilato.  Assim sendo, foi realizada uma busca nas bases de dados MEDLINE, Portal BVS, Scielo e LILACS, entre os anos de 2012 e 2021 sendo em português, inglês ou espanhol.
