The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso do Sul and its contribution to the regional development of Ponta Porã and its catchment area

Resumo: The present work is the result of a research presented in the stricto sensu graduate program in regional development and productive systems - PPGDRS of the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Where the contribution of the Federal Institute of Education, Science was investigated. and Mato Grosso do Sul Ponta Porã Campus Technology for the regional development of its coverage area. In this process of understanding the proposed theme, a survey was carried out on the implementation and expansion of Federal Institutes, based on Federal Law nº 11892, of December 29, 2008, which, in its wording expresses that the internalization of teaching technical aims to boost regional development. Based on this research, it can be seen that the IFMS Ponta Porã has been making efforts to get closer to the community through events and partnerships with municipalities and institutions in the region. It is also noted that professional training in the courses analyzed present good prospects for the insertion of graduates in the labor market and increase in income. It can be inferred that the institution not only serves business, utilitarian and instrumental education, but also allows for a critical, humanistic, holistic view, since through the training received at the institution, individuals are able to make choices, including that of be able to continue studies in academic life. The contributions of the IFMS of Ponta Porã to regional development occur with the training of young people and adults for the world of work, through the entry of graduates into the labor market, with the holding of scientific and cultural events in the municipality.

Donde se investigó el aporte del Instituto Federal de Educación, Ciencia. Y Mato Campus Grosso do Sul Ponta Porã Tecnología para el desarrollo regional de su área de cobertura. En este proceso de comprensión del tema propuesto, se realizó una encuesta sobre la implementación y ampliación de los Institutos Federales, con base en la Ley Federal nº 11892, de 29 de diciembre de 2008, que en su redacción expresa que la internalización de la enseñanza técnica tiene como objetivo impulsar el desarrollo regional. Con base en esta investigación, se puede observar que el IFMS Ponta Porã ha venido haciendo esfuerzos para acercarse a la comunidad a través de eventos y alianzas con municipios e instituciones de la región. También se observa que la formación profesional en los cursos analizados presenta buenas perspectivas para la inserción de los egresados ​​en el mercado laboral y el aumento de los ingresos. Se puede inferir que la institución no solo atiende a la educación empresarial, utilitaria e instrumental, sino que también permite una mirada crítica, humanista y holística, ya que a través de la formación recibida en la institución, los individuos son capaces de tomar decisiones, incluida la de poder. para continuar estudios en la vida académica. Los aportes del IFMS de Ponta Porã al desarrollo regional se dan con la formación de jóvenes y adultos para el mundo laboral, a través del ingreso de egresados ​​al mercado laboral, con la realización de eventos científicos y culturales en el municipio.O presente trabalho, é o resultado de uma pesquisa apresentada no programa de pós-graduação stricto sensu em desenvolvimento regional e sistemas produtivos – PPGDRS da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul.  Onde investigou-se qual a contribuição do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso do Sul Campus Ponta Porã para o desenvolvimento regional da sua área de abrangência. Nesse processo de compreensão do tema proposto, fez-se um levantamento sobre a implantação e expansão dos Institutos Federais, a partir da Lei Federal nº11.892, de 29 de dezembro de 2008, a qual, em sua redação expressa que a interiorização do ensino técnico tem como objetivos impulsionar o desenvolvimento regional. Pode-se, a partir dessa pesquisa, perceber que o IFMS Ponta Porã vem realizando esforços para aproximar-se da comunidade através de eventos e parcerias com os municípios e instituições da região. Nota-se ainda que, a formação profissional, nos cursos analisados apresentam boas perspectivas de inserção dos egressos no mercado de trabalho e aumento da renda. Pode-se inferir que a instituição não atende somente a educação empresarial, utilitarista e instrumental, mas também permite uma visão crítica, humanista, holística, uma vez que através da formação recebida na instituição os indivíduos têm condições de fazer escolhas, entre elas a de poder dar continuidade aos estudos na vida acadêmica.
