Resumo: The school becomes paramount in the path of sexual and gender education, breaking paradigms and forming sensitive subjects prepared to live and live together, respecting the differences of each individual. Above all, the teacher has a fundamental role in intervening with actions aimed at building an equitable school space, aimed at promoting the mental health of young people. This study aimed to understand the importance of approaching gender and sexuality to promote the mental health of young women in the school context. This is a Narrative Review of Literature (RNL), with a descriptive/exploratory character, through a qualitative approach. It is the educator's duty to be interested and seek to understand the individuality of each student, for this it is always feasible to seek new teaching alternatives to cover the vast majority of subjects. In addition, the school needs to train professionals in terms of integrating the approach to issues such as gender, sexuality and mental health, aiming at health promotion.

Sobre todo, el docente tiene un papel fundamental al intervenir con acciones encaminadas a la construcción de un espacio escolar equitativo, encaminado a promover la salud mental de los jóvenes. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender la importancia del abordaje de género y sexualidad para promover la salud mental de mujeres jóvenes en el contexto escolar. Se trata de una Revisión de Literatura Narrativa (RNL), con carácter descriptivo/exploratorio, a través de un abordaje cualitativo. Es deber del educador interesarse y buscar comprender la individualidad de cada alumno, para ello siempre es factible buscar nuevas alternativas didácticas que abarquen la gran mayoría de las materias. Además, la escuela necesita formar profesionales en la integración del abordaje de cuestiones como género, sexualidad y salud mental, visando la promoción de la salud.A escola se torna primordial no trajeto de educação sexual e de gênero, quebrando paradigmas e formando sujeitos sensíveis e preparados para viver e conviver em coletividade, respeitando as diferenças de cada indivíduo. Sobretudo, o professor, tem papel fundamental para intervir com ações voltadas para a construção de um espaço escolar equânime, que vise a promoção da saúde mental de jovens. Este estudo objetivou compreender a importância da abordagem sobre de gênero e sexualidade para promoção da saúde mental de mulheres jovens no contexto escolar. Trata-se de uma Revisão Narrativa da Literatura (RNL), com caráter descritivo/ exploratório, através de uma abordagem qualitativa. É dever do educador, se interessar e procurar entender a individualidade de cada estudante, para isso é sempre viável buscar novas alternativas de ensino para abarcar a grande maioria dos sujeitos.
