Law nº 10.639/2003: the teaching-pedagogical use of anti-racist films for the decolonization of knowledge in science and mathematics teaching

Resumo: In the historiography of Brazilian education since the colonial period at all levels, learning modalities, contexts, and educational documents, it represents the culture and socio-scientific knowledge of a Eurocentric, sexist, masculine, American and white-centric base, on the other hand, in the school curriculum there are erasures of scientific productions. produced by thinkers of African origin in school curricula. The objective of this research is to present the didactic use of anti-racist filmographies in teaching and learning in Science Education and Mathematics Education in Basic Education; basic education on knowledge of Science and Mathematics of African origin. The guiding question outlined: do filmographies with anti-racist themes have the potential to promote curricular decolonization in the teaching of Science and Mathematics? The methodological path designed consisted of a qualitative research in the Action Research procedures carried out in 2019; For data collection, semi-structured interviews with 96 students were used; Data analysis was engendered in the qualitative methodology of content analysis in association with discourse analysis. Among the main results, it was found that anti-racist films promoted students' contact with scientific production of African origin; It is verified that teaching Science and Mathematics teaching content through the didactic resource of anti-racist films promoted the effectiveness of Law n°10.639/2003. It is concluded that the use of anti-racist films has a potentializing action for the decolonization of the school curriculum in the aforementioned subjects, contributing significantly to the study and contact of students with the scientific knowledge produced by intellectuals of African origin.

El objetivo de esta investigación es presentar el uso didáctico de las películas antirracistas no enseñadas y aprendidas en la Enseñanza de las Ciencias y la Enseñanza de las Matemáticas, no en la Enseñanza Primaria; o trabajo justificado por el efecto explícito de la Ley nº 10.639/2003, y dos alumnos carecen de conocimientos en Educación Básica sobre conocimientos de Ciencias y Matemáticas de origen africano. Se esboza una pregunta orientadora: ¿las filmografías de temática antirracista tienen potencial para promover la descolonización curricular no solo en Ciencias y Matemáticas? El curso metodológico desarrollado consistió en una investigación cualitativa en los procedimientos de Investigación Acción realizada en el 2019; Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas con estudiantes; Se generó el análisis de dos datos en la metodología cualitativa de análisis de contenido asociada al análisis del discurso, entre los principales resultados se encontró que las películas antirracistas promoverían el contacto de dos estudiantes con producción científica de origen africano; Se verificó que la enseñanza de contenidos didácticos de Ciencias y Matemáticas a través del recurso didáctico de películas antirracistas promovió la vigencia de la Ley n°10.639/2003. Se concluyó que el uso de películas antirracistas tuvo el potencial de descolonizar el currículo escolar en esas materias, contribuyendo significativamente al estudio y contacto de dos estudiantes, dos saberes científicos producidos por intelectuales de origen africano.Na historiografia da educação brasileira desde o período colonial em todos os níveis, modalidades de aprendizagem, contextos, e documentos educacionais representa a cultura e conhecimentos sociocientíficos de base eurocêntrica, machista, masculina, estadunidense e brancocêntrica, em contrapartida no currículo escolar há apagamentos das produções científicas produzidas pelos pensadores de matriz africana nos currículos escolares. Objetiva-se nesta pesquisa apresentar o uso didático de filmografias antirracistas no ensino e aprendizado em Educação Ciências e Educação Matemática no ensino na Educação Básica; O trabalho justifica-se para efetivação explícita da Lei nº 10.639/2003, e da falta de saberes dos alunos na educação básica sobre conhecimentos de Ciências e Matemática de matriz africana. A questão norteadora delineada: filmografias com temáticas antirracistas têm potencialidade para promover descolonização curricular no ensino de Ciências e matemática? O caminho metodológico desenhado consistiu-se numa pesquisa qualitativa nos procedimentos da Pesquisa-Ação realizada em 2019; Para coleta de dados utilizou-se entrevistas semiestruturadas com96alunos; A análise dos dados foi engendrada na metodologia qualitativa da análise do conteúdo em associação com a análise do discurso. Dentre os principais resultados constatou-se que filmes antirracistas promoveram contato dos alunos com produção científica de matriz africana; Verifica-se que ensinar conteúdos de ensino de Ciências e Matemática por meio do recurso didático de filmes antirracistas promoveu efetivação da Lei n°10.639/2003.
