Resumo: On January 10, 1946, the Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial (SENAC) was created nationwide through Decree-Law no. 8,621. The creation of this institution occurred with the combination of numerous factors that indicated the need for a commercial professional school that was aimed at employees of commercial establishments. With 12 articles / objectives, the decree provides for and guides the creation of SENAC, assigning the newly created National Trade Confederation (September 1945) the responsibility of administering and organizing commercial learning schools in the country. In the same year, it started its activities of hiring teachers organized by the Teaching Division, the department responsible for hiring and pedagogical training of teachers and enrollment of students. This article aims to present how the selection process of the first teachers took place, profile, characteristics of the hired teachers and how the pedagogical orientation that aimed at the didactic training of teachers took place. We will also present how the first enrollments and the work carried out by the institution with entrepreneurs and families to publicize the courses took place. Through the primary sources will be presented the profile of the students, the first trainees and the problem of dropout based on a study carried out by Senac / SP, coordinated by the Department of Education Division which aimed to understand the reasons for dropout. For the production of this article, we used primary sources that were located, gathered, selected and analyzed. The main source was the Annual Reports of Senac / SP, produced by the Regional Directorate from the reports sent by the directors of the schools of the State Senac.

La creación de esta institución se dio con la combinación de numerosos factores que indicaron la necesidad de una escuela profesional comercial que estuviera dirigida a empleados de establecimientos comerciales. Con 12 artículos / objetivos, el decreto prevé y orienta la creación del SENAC, asignando a la recién creada Confederación Nacional de Comercio (septiembre de 1945) la responsabilidad de administrar y organizar las escuelas comerciales de aprendizaje en el país. En el mismo año, inició sus actividades de contratación de docentes organizadas por la División de Docencia, departamento responsable de la contratación y formación pedagógica de docentes y matriculación de estudiantes. Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar cómo se desarrolló el proceso de selección de los primeros docentes, perfil, características de los docentes contratados y cómo se produjo la orientación pedagógica que tuvo como objetivo la formación didáctica de los docentes. También presentaremos cómo se llevaron a cabo las primeras inscripciones y el trabajo realizado por la institución con emprendedores y familias para dar a conocer los cursos. A través de las fuentes primarias se presentará el perfil de los estudiantes, los primeros aprendices y el problema de la deserción a partir de un estudio realizado por Senac / SP, coordinado por la División del Departamento de Educación que tuvo como objetivo comprender los motivos de la deserción. Para la elaboración de este artículo utilizamos fuentes primarias que fueron ubicadas, recopiladas, seleccionadas y analizadas. La principal fuente fueron los Informes Anuales del Senac / SP, elaborados por la Dirección Regional a partir de los informes enviados por los directores de las escuelas del Senac Estatal.Em 10 de janeiro de 1946 é criado o Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial (SENAC) em todo território nacional por meio do Decreto-lei n. 8.621. A criação dessa instituição se deu com a junção de inúmeros fatores que indicavam a necessidade de uma escola profissional comercial que fosse voltada aos funcionários dos estabelecimentos comerciais. Com 12 artigos/objetivos, o decreto dispõe e orienta a criação do SENAC, atribuindo à recém-criada Confederação Nacional do Comércio (setembro de 1945) a responsabilidade de administrar e organizar as escolas de aprendizagem comercial no país. E neste mesmo ano iniciou suas atividades de contratação de professores organizada pela Divisão de Ensino, departamento responsável pela contratação e formação pedagógica dos professores e matrículas de alunos. Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar como se concretizou o processo de seleção dos primeiros professores, perfil, características dos professores contratados e como se deu a orientação pedagógica que visava a formação didática dos professores. Apresentaremos também como ocorreram as primeiras matrículas e o trabalho realizado pela instituição junto aos empresários e famílias para divulgar os cursos. Por meio das fontes primárias será apresentado o perfil dos alunos, os primeiros formandos e o problema da evasão a partir de um estudo realizado pelo Senac/SP, coordenado pelo Departamento de Divisão de Ensino que tinha por objetivo compreender quais eram os motivos da evasão. Utilizamos para a produção desse artigo fontes primárias que foram localizadas, reunidas, selecionadas e analisadas.
