Contemporary challenges: the (des) motivation of pupils from a public school as to the learning process

Resumo: This work aims to share some reflections about the contemporary school in the interface of an experience in the classroom. In this context, the theoretical framework is based on a pedagogical experience focusing on Financial Mathematics, applied to the third year of high school in a State School of Vale do Taquari/RS, in the first quarter of 2015. The purpose of this proposal was to link the content programmed through the School Study Plan, with a subject related to the daily life of the students. Through provided activities, it was possible to offer several reflections, since it was noticeable the discouragement and lack of motivation of the students in the classroom. For that, authors dealing with this theme were used, such as Ó and Costa, Nóvoa, Ghedin and Pérez Goméz. It should be emphasized that it is necessary to rethink the role of the school and the challenges to be overcome, so that it becomes ever more attractive and provides the student with a more involving environment. It is emphasized that motivation originates in the desire to satisfy a need, if there is no need, there will be no motivation. Therefore, it is highlighted that through the pedagogical proposal, it was possible to point out ways to overcome some difficulties encountered by the students, promoting, in a motivating way, interactions between the content in study and the daily life of the student.

En este contexto, se articula el referencial teórico basado en una experiencia pedagógica con enfoque en la Matemática Financiera, aplicada al tercer año de la Enseñanza Media de una Escuela Estadual del Valle del Taquari / RS, en el primer trimestre de 2015. La finalidad de esta propuesta fue vincular el contenido programado a través del Plan de Estudios de la escuela, con un asunto relacionado con el cotidiano de los alumnos. A través de actividades proporcionadas, fue posible oportunizar diversas reflexiones, ya que era perceptible el desánimo y falta de motivación de los alumnos en el aula. Para ello, se utilizaron autores que tratan esta temática, como Ó y Costa, Nóvoa, Ghedin y Pérez Goméz. Se destaca que, es necesario repensar el papel de la escuela y los desafíos a ser superados, para que ella se vuelva cada vez más atractiva y proporcione al alumno un ambiente más envolvente. Se subraya que la motivación se origina en el deseo de satisfacer una necesidad, no habiendo necesidad, no habrá motivación. Por lo tanto, se destaca que a través de la propuesta pedagógica realizada, fue posible apuntar medios para superar algunas dificultades encontradas por los alumnos, promoviendo de forma motivadora, interacciones entre el contenido en estudio y el cotidiano del alumno.Este trabalho possui o objetivo de compartilhar algumas reflexões acerca da escola contemporânea em interface de uma vivência em sala de aula. Neste contexto, articula-se o referencial teórico embasado em uma experiência pedagógica com enfoque na Matemática Financeira, aplicada ao terceiro ano do Ensino Médio de uma Escola Estadual do Vale do Taquari/RS, no primeiro trimestre de 2015. A finalidade desta proposta foi vincular o conteúdo programado através do Plano de Estudos da escola, com um assunto relacionado com o cotidiano dos alunos. Através de atividades proporcionadas, foi possível oportunizar diversas reflexões, uma vez que era perceptível o desânimo e falta de motivação dos alunos em sala de aula. Para tanto, foram utilizados autores que tratam dessa temática, como Ó e Costa, Nóvoa, Ghedin e Pérez Goméz. Salienta-se que, faz-se necessário repensar o papel da escola e os desafios a serem superados, para que ela se torne sempre mais atrativa e proporcione ao aluno um ambiente mais envolvente. Salienta-se que a motivação se origina no desejo de se satisfazer uma necessidade, não havendo necessidade, não haverá motivação.
