Permanent education and its contribution to the management process in the scope of primary care

Resumo: Objective: to describe the practice of Permanent Education (PE) as a tool in the managerial work process of nurses in the context of primary care. Method: descriptive research with a qualitative approach, conducted with nurses from two community clinics of the family in the city of Niterói - Rio de Janeiro. For data collection, semi-structured interviews and audio recording were performed. The thematic content analysis technique was used. The research was approved with the opinion of the Research Ethics Committee (REC), under CAAE nº 64840416.3.0000.5243 of Federal Fluminense University. Results: after analyzing the data, the following categories emerged: Permanent Education as a management strategy for nurses at Community Family Clinics and challenges of Permanent Education as a strategy for renewing management in the nurse's work process. Conclusion: contributions from the use of permanent education were found in teamwork and in the management of nurses in Community Family Clinics, enabling the transformation in their work environment, in addition to the obstacles that can hinder this process.

Método: investigación descriptiva con abordaje cualitativo, realizada con enfermeros de dos clínicas comunitarias de la familia en la ciudad de Niterói - Rio de Janeiro. Para la recolección de datos se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y grabación de audio. Se utilizó la técnica de análisis de contenido temático. La investigación fue aprobada con el dictamen del Comité de Ética en Investigación (CEI), bajo CAAE nº 64840416.3.0000.5243 de la Universidade Federal Fluminense. Resultados: luego del análisis de los datos surgieron las siguientes categorías: Educación Permanente como estrategia de gestión para enfermeras en Clínicas Familiares Comunitarias y desafíos de la Educación Permanente como estrategia para renovar la gestión en el proceso de trabajo del enfermero. Conclusión: se encontraron aportes del uso de la educación permanente en el trabajo en equipo y en la gestión de enfermeras en las Clínicas Familiares Comunitarias, posibilitando la transformación en su entorno laboral, además de los obstáculos que pueden entorpecer este proceso.Objetivo: descrever a prática da Educação Permanente (EP) como ferramenta do processo de trabalho gerencial do enfermeiro no âmbito de atenção básica. Método: pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, realizada com enfermeiros de duas clínicas comunitárias da família do município de Niterói - Rio de Janeiro. Para a coleta dos dados foi realizada entrevista semiestruturada e gravação de áudio. Utilizou-se a técnica da análise de conteúdo na modalidade temática. A Pesquisa foi aprovada com parecer do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CEP), sob o CAAE nº 64840416.3.0000.5243 da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Resultados: após a análise dos dados emergiu as seguintes categorias: a Educação Permanente como estratégia de gestão dos enfermeiros das Clínicas Comunitárias da Família e desafios da Educação Permanente como estratégia de renovação na gestão no processo de trabalho do enfermeiro.
