Resumo: | Objective: The study aims to describe the content covered in scientific productions on the theme Mindfulness in the management of stress for university students. Methodology: An integrative literature review was carried out in the LILACS, PUBMED and MEDLINE databases, using the keywords "mindfulness", "mindfulness", "students" "stress" and "anxiety", selecting articles in English and Portuguese from last five years (2014 to 2019), with full text and available online. Results: From the analysis of the 51 publications found, two categories were developed: 1. The management of stress and the benefits of its practice, subdivided into Mindfulness as a learning tool and The promotion of self-acceptance and the acceptance of the other; 2. Difficulties to practice mindfulness. Conclusion: The use of mindfulness as stress management in university students has been considered an effective strategy in reducing the stress caused by academic life, in addition to providing improvement in health problems and academic performance. |

Metodología: Se realizó una revisión integradora de la literatura en las bases de datos LILACS, PUBMED y MEDLINE, utilizando las palabras clave "mindfulness", "mindfulness", "estudiantes" "estrés" y "ansiedad", seleccionando artículos en inglés y portugués de últimos cinco años (2014 a 2019), con texto completo y disponible en línea. Resultados: A partir del análisis de las 51 publicaciones encontradas, se desarrollaron dos categorías: 1. El manejo del estrés y los beneficios de su práctica, subdividido en Mindfulness como herramienta de aprendizaje y La promoción de la autoaceptación y la aceptación del otro; 2. Dificultades para practicar la atención plena. Conclusión: El uso del mindfulness como manejo del estrés en estudiantes universitarios ha sido considerado una estrategia efectiva para reducir el estrés que genera la vida académica, además de brindar una mejora en los problemas de salud y rendimiento académico.Objetivo: O estudo objetiva descrever o conteúdo abordado nas produções científicas sobre a temática Mindfulness no manejo do estresse para estudantes universitários. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa de literatura nas bases de dados LILACS, PUBMED e MEDLINE, através dos descritores “mindfulness”, “atenção plena”, “estudantes” “estresse” e “ansiedade”, selecionando os artigos em inglês e português dos últimos cinco anos (2014 a 2019), com texto completo e disponível online. Resultados: A partir da análise das 51 publicações encontradas, foram elaboradas duas categorias: 1. O manejo do estresse e os benefícios de sua prática, subdividida em O mindfulness como ferramenta de aprendizado e A promoção da autoaceitação e a aceitação do outro; 2. Dificuldades para a prática do mindfulness.
