Information and Communication Technologies in Chemistry teaching: an analysis

Resumo: This paper presents a study on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the teaching and learning process of Chemistry. Given the large number the published works, the objective was sought to identify the most used tools, their contributions, and their difficulties during use. The research was carried out in the Periódicos CAPES portal and Mendeley using descriptors related to the theme. After the selection and analysis of the articles, information was extracted regarding the ICTs pointed out by the authors, as well as the benefits, possibilities, and difficulties raised by them. The search revealed a total of 355 articles published in Portuguese from 2017 to September 2021, with 55 publications included in this work. With that, 42 ICTs were listed and expressive results, positively impacting the learning process, enabling the realization of didactic and interactive work, improving the levels of motivation for students, as well as participation, and greater ownership of the new material.

Dada la gran cantidad de trabajos publicados, el objetivo fue identifica las herramientas más utilizadas, sus aportes y dificultades durante su uso. La investigación se realizó en el Portal de Periódicos de la CAPES y en el gestor Mendeley utilizando descriptores relacionados con el tema. Tras la selección y análisis de los artículos, se extrajo información sobre las TIC señaladas por los autores, así como los beneficios, posibilidades y dificultades que plantean. La búsqueda reveló un total de 355 artículos publicados en portugués desde 2017 hasta septiembre de 2021, con 55 publicaciones incluidas en este trabajo. Como resultado se listaron 42 TIC con resultados expresivos, impactando positivamente en el proceso de aprendizaje, posibilitando la realización de trabajos didácticos e interactivos, mejorando los niveles de motivación de los estudiantes, así como la participación y mayor apropiación de nuevos materiales.Neste trabalho apresenta-se um estudo quanto a utilização de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs) no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Química. Diante do grande número de trabalhos publicados, como objetivo buscou-se identificar as ferramentas mais utilizadas, as suas contribuições e dificuldades durante uso. A pesquisa foi realizada no Portal de Periódicos CAPES e gerenciador Mendeley utilizando descritores relacionados à temática. Após a seleção e análise dos artigos, foram extraídas informações quanto as TICs apontadas pelos autores, assim como benefícios, possibilidades e dificuldades levantados por eles. A busca revelou um total de 355 artigos publicados em português de 2017 a setembro de 2021, sendo 55 publicações incluídas neste trabalho.
