Study on the association of maturity models and agile methodologies

Resumo: With the increasing use of agile methods for software project management and due to the need for process monitoring in organisations, the objective of this paper is to identify how the association of agile software development methodologies with maturity models commonly used in the traditional methodology has been made. Therefore, we sought to identify, through a survey in scientific publications, which maturity models are used and how they are related to the practice of agile software development. It noted to be a subject of more recent study and of interest of the researchers. As a result, two very evident lines of research were identified, one for proposing new process maturity models considering agile methods, and the other about applying agile practices to obtain maturity levels defined by the CMMI.

Por lo tanto, buscamos identificar, a través de una encuesta en publicaciones científicas, qué modelos de madurez se utilizan y cómo se relacionan con la práctica del desarrollo ágil de software. Se señaló que era un tema de estudio más reciente y de interés para los investigadores. Como resultado, se identificaron dos líneas claras de investigación, una para proponer nuevos modelos de madurez de procesos considerando métodos ágiles, y la otra sobre la aplicación de prácticas ágiles para obtener niveles de madurez definidos por el CMMI.Com a crescente utilização de métodos ágeis para gerenciamento de projetos de software e devido à necessidade de monitoramento de processos nas empresas, o objetivo deste artigo é identificar como vem sendo feita a associação de metodologias ágeis de desenvolvimento de software com modelos de maturidade comumente utilizados na metodologia tradicional. Para tanto buscou-se identificar por meio de um levantamento em publicações científicas, quais os modelos de maturidade utilizados e como estes são relacionados com a prática de desenvolvimento ágil de software. Observou ser um assunto de estudo mais recente e de interesse dos pesquisadores.
