Telemonitoring as a technology allied to nursing care for onco-hematological patients

Summary: Objective: To discuss the nursing interventions applicable during post-discharge telephone follow-up for patients with onco-hematological disease. Method: Exploratory research with a mixed approach, a single case study type. The sample consisted of 21 participants, eight from the intervention group and 13 from the control group. Nursing interventions were applied according to the NIC standard (Nursing Intervention Classification, 2010) for “Monitoring by phone” to the intervention group. Simple descriptive statistical analysis was performed. Results: the nursing interventions 100% applied were: actively listening, counseling, supervision, skin supervision, nutrition control, protection against infection; the 75%: infection control, medication control and bleeding precautions; 50%: bathing, control of the environment and reduction of gastrointestinal bleeding. Conclusion: It is a technology that can be combined with nursing care for onco-hematological patients, as it favors the maintenance of the patient's bond with the nurse, allows assistance to clarify doubts after discharge, in addition to encouraging adherence to treatment and management of self-care.

Método: investigación exploratoria con enfoque mixto, estudio de caso único. La muestra consistió en 21 participantes, ocho del grupo de intervención y 13 del grupo de control. Las intervenciones de enfermería se aplicaron de acuerdo con el estándar NIC (Clasificación de Intervención de Enfermería, 2010) para "Monitoreo por teléfono" al grupo de intervención. Se realizó un análisis estadístico descriptivo simple. Resultados: Las intervenciones de enfermería 100% aplicadas fueron: escucha activa, asesoramiento, supervisión, supervisión de la piel, control nutricional, protección contra infecciones; 75%: control de infecciones, control de drogas y precauciones de sangrado; 50%: baño, control ambiental y reducción del sangrado gastrointestinal. Conclusión: Esta es una tecnología que se puede combinar con el cuidado de enfermería para pacientes oncohematológicos, ya que favorece el mantenimiento del vínculo del paciente con la enfermera, lo que permite aclarar las dudas en el post-alta y alienta el cumplimiento del tratamiento. y gestión de autocuidado.Objetivo: Discutir as intervenções de enfermagem aplicáveis durante o acompanhamento por telefone no pós-alta para pacientes com doença onco-hematológica. Método: Pesquisa exploratória com abordagem mista, do tipo estudo de caso único. A amostra foi composta por 21 participantes, sendo oito do grupo intervenção e 13 do controle. Aplicou-se intervenções de enfermagem segundo o padrão da NIC (Nursing Intervention Classification, 2010) para o “Acompanhamento por telefone” ao grupo intervenção. Foi realizada análise estatística descritiva simples. Resultados: as intervenções de enfermagem 100% aplicadas foram: escutar ativamente, aconselhamento, supervisão, supervisão da pele, controle da nutrição, proteção contra infecção; as 75%: controle de infecção, controle de medicamento e precauções contra sangramento; 50%: banho, controle do ambiente e redução do sangramento gastrintestinal.
