Resumo: This article is the result of the experience of nursing professors and academics during a flu vaccination campaign, affected by the H1N1 virus, in the municipalities of Belém and Ananindeua in the state of Pará in the context of the new Covid-19. The experience took place during the first phase of the campaign from 23 to 28 March 2020. The results of this campaign were satisfactory for immunization. In the elderly population, the target was exceeded and reached 101.65% of the priority group. Regarding health professionals, the brand was also higher than expected and reached 91.82% of this audience. With this, this research shows that vaccination against Influenza is a strategy of great importance in order to maximize the diagnosis and the consequent treatment of Covid-19.

La experiencia tuvo lugar durante la primera fase de la campaña del 23 al 28 de marzo de 2020. Los resultados de esta campaña fueron satisfactorios para la inmunización. En la población de edad avanzada, se superó el objetivo y alcanzó el 101,65% del grupo prioritario. Con respecto a los profesionales de la salud, la marca también fue más alta de lo esperado y alcanzó el 91.82% de esta audiencia. Con esto, esta investigación muestra que la vacunación contra la influenza es una estrategia de gran importancia para maximizar el diagnóstico y el consiguiente tratamiento de Covid-19.Este artigo é resultado da experiência de docentes e acadêmicos de enfermagem durante uma campanha de vacinação contra a gripe, acometida pelo vírus H1N1, nos municípios de Belém e Ananindeua do Estado do Pará no contexto do Covid-19. A vivência ocorreu durante a primeira fase da campanha no período de 23 a 28 de março de 2020. Os resultados dessa campanha foram satisfatórios para a imunização. Na população idosa, a meta foi ultrapassada e atingiu 101,65% do grupo prioritário. Em relação aos profissionais da saúde, a marca também foi maior que esperada e atingiu 91,82% desse público.
