FOUNDATIONS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT IN THE HISTORY OF BRAZILIAN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Resumo: Within the context of historical movement and grounded in the characteristics of each social formation, humanity has formulated a range of perspectives concerning children and the role of Early Childhood Education. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to characterize the foundations of human development that have significantly impacted the history of Brazilian Early Childhood Education. To that end, a bibliographical and documental study was carried out, with the intention of delineating the historical underpinnings of the propositions that form the basis of pedagogical practices within Brazilian Early Childhood Education. This is a significant theme, as the educational work during the initial stage of primary education have consistently been impacted by anti-school and unsystematic pedagogical approaches, resulting in inadequate public policies that offer programs that are intermittently compensatory, preparatory or preventive, all while grappling with limited public sector resources. Ultimately, it is crucial to underscore the theoretical-methodological assumptions aimed at transcending the welfare-compensatory conception, which can contribute to enhance the understanding of pedagogical practices dedicated to the comprehensive development of the foundational aspects of the human subject in the new generations.

Así, el objetivo de este trabajo es caracterizar los fundamentos del desarrollo humano que influyeron en la historia de la Educación Infantil brasileña. Para ello, se realizó un estudio bibliográfico y documental, con el objetivo de delinear en la historia de la Educación Infantil brasileña, la comprensión de los fundamentos de las proposiciones elaboradas que sustentan las prácticas pedagógicas. Este es un tema importante, considerando que el quehacer educativo de la primera etapa de la educación básica siempre ha padecido enfoques pedagógicos antiescolares y asistemáticos, resultando en una política pública recesiva al ofrecer programas a veces compensatorios, a veces preparatorios o preventivos, con escasos recursos del sector público. El texto cierra, destacando los presupuestos teórico-metodológicos que posibilitan la superación de la concepción asistencialista-compensatoria, capaces de contribuir a la comprensión de prácticas pedagógicas comprometidas con el pleno desarrollo de los aspectos estructurantes del sujeto humano, en la formación de nuevos generaciones.No movimento histórico, de acordo com as características de cada formação social, a humanidade produziu diferentes formas de compreender a criança e o papel da Educação Infantil. Desse modo, o objetivo do presente trabalho é caracterizar os fundamentos do desenvolvimento humano que exerceram influência na história da Educação Infantil brasileira. Para tanto, conduziu-se um estudo bibliográfico e documental, com o propósito de delinear na história da Educação Infantil brasileira, a compreensão dos fundamentos das proposições elaboradas que sustentam as práticas pedagógicas. Trata-se de um tema importante, considerando que o trabalho educativo da primeira etapa da educação básica sempre padeceu sobre enfoques pedagógicos anti-escolares e assistemáticos, resultando em uma política pública recessiva pela oferta de programas de caráter ora compensatórios, ora preparatórios ou preventivos, com escassos recursos do setor público.
