Resumo: | Introduction: Health is an essential human right and several determining and conditioning factors influence it. Healthy and adequate food is one of the factors to promote health and the organization of groups is one of the ways. One of the purposes of health promotion is to meet social health needs and ensure the improvement of the population’s quality of life.Objective: To describe the experiences of nutritionists in a Nutrition Promotion Group located in the municipality of Criciúma-SC.Description: This is a qualitative experience report. The experience took place in a Nutrition Promotion Group organized by nutritionists resident in Public Health / Primary Care who work in a Basic Health Unit.Discussion: Autonomy in food choices reinforces the responsibility of individuals in their health-disease process. Educational activities in health promotion encourage people to think about the reality of their health and also to seek resources to improve health individually and collectively. In this way, the actions promoted by the group proved to be efficient, since several participants reported in the meetings that there was a gradual change to a healthy diet. |

E uma das estratégias para produzir saúde tanto de forma individual quanto coletiva é a promoção da saúde, que tem como finalidade atender as necessidades sociais de saúde e garantir a melhoria da qualidade de vida da população.Objetivo: Descrever as experiências das nutricionistas em um Grupo de Promoção Nutricional localizado no município de Criciúma-SC.Descrição: Trata-se de um relato de experiência de caráter qualitativo. A experiência ocorreu em um Grupo de Promoção Nutricional organizado pelas nutricionistas residentes em Saúde Coletiva/Atenção Básica que atuam em uma Unidade básica de Saúde.Discussão: A autonomia nas escolhas alimentares reforça a responsabilização dos indivíduos no seu processo saúde-doença. As atividades educativas na promoção da saúde, estimula as pessoas a pensar sobre a realidade da sua saúde e também a buscar recursos para melhorar a saúde de forma individual e coletiva.
