Resumo: Na rotina clínica, frequentemente depara-se com molaresinclinados mesialmente, devido à perda precoce de molaresdecíduos ou permanentes, anodontia de segundospré-molares. A verticalização de molares com abertura oufechamento do espaço ou ainda a extração são soluçõesrecomendadas, dependendo da gravidade do problema. Averticalização de molares é uma terapia ortodôntica muitoutilizada em pacientes adultos, de grande validade para osprocedimentos de prótese, periodontia e implantes. Sendoassim este trabalho tem por finalidade mostrar uma opçãoterapêutica para a verticalização de molares utilizandocantiléver.
