Resumo: The objective of this work is to identify the port as part of a port logistics chain of chilled and /or frozen products in the State of Santa Catarina. In the methodological procedures, elements of case study applied in SC are used, and as a research instrument, a questionnaire is used to legitimize the proposal to recognize the port as part of the chain, with experts in the sector. The proposed objectives were achieved by establishing the construction through theoretical support and legitimized with experts from the professional market, the formation of a port logistics chain in a scenario with information from a case in SC, recognizing the port as an integral element of this chain.

Como metodología, se utilizó un estudio de caso aplicado en SC, y como técnica de investigación, el uso de un cuestionario para legitimar la propuesta de reconocer el puerto en la cadena como miembro, con expertos en el sector. Los objetivos propuestos se lograron estableciendo la construcción a través de un apoyo teórico y legitimado con expertos del mercado profesional, la formación de una cadena logística-portuaria en un escenario con información de un caso en SC, reconociendo el puerto como un elemento integral de esta cadena.O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar o porto como um integrante de uma cadeia logístico-portuária de produtos refrigerados e/ou congelados no Estado de Santa Catarina. Nos procedimentos metodológicos utiliza-se elementos de estudo de caso aplicado em SC, e como instrumento de pesquisa utiliza-se um questionário para legitimar a proposta de reconhecer na cadeia o porto como um integrante, com experts no setor.
