Resumo: A major sports media company in Brazil was analyzed to identify opportunities of operational efficiency improvement in several areas, through process mapping in order to optimize tasks, reducing costs and rework by focusing on activities that add value and thus increasing the quality and quantity of sports content for the TV viewers. The objective of this work is to improve processes through a variety of tools and the creation of performance indicators and goal setting. The theoretical framework is divided into: process and quality management. This research is qualitative, conducted through an action research, which was used as data collection tools: interviews, site visits and data analysis. It is expected to complete the diagnosis and suggest possible improvements to contribute to the quality management of sports media companies using the DMAIC methodology

O objetivo deste trabalho é a melhoria de processos por meio de diversas ferramentas e a criação de indicadores de desempenho e definição de metas. O referencial teórico é dividido em: gestão da qualidade e de processos. Esta pesquisa é qualitativa, realizada por meio de uma pesquisa-ação, no qual utilizou-se como instrumentos de coleta de dados: entrevistas, visitas in loco e análise de dados.
