Resumo: | This research project aimed to verify if the internal factors of an organization can influence the adoption of gamification as an innovative tool in a software development company. A theoretical reference is presented involving innovation, focusing on process innovation, the diffusion theory of innovation, presenting the internal factors identified by several authors and the gamification as an innovative tool. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative exploratory and descriptive approach was used, in which a case study was carried out from in-depth interviews, with a structured and previously elaborated script, for data collection and later in-depth analysis. The interviews were conducted with six production team leaders from a software factory at Foz do Iguaçu-PR between April and May 2017 and data analysis was performed using the Content Analysis technique. With the results obtained it was possible to detect evidence of the seven internal organizational factors proposed by the theory, for which the following categories were created: C3: The Decision for Innovation; C4: Nature of Communication Channels; C5: Nature of the Social System; C6: Change Agent Performance; C7: The Participatory Process; C8: Preparing the Environment for Change; and C9: The Organizational Structure. Two other Categories related to the perception that the interviewees had of gamification were also identified, being: C1: Motivation and Benefits Obtained with Innovation; And C2: Focus on Productivity. |
