Visible and invisible scratches in a Brazilian cinema of uprisings

Summary: The gesture of silent insubordination, kept out of sight, was quite present in the Brazilian film production carried out in the 2010s. Based on a methodological approach inspired by the Warburguian boards from the Atlas Mnemosyne, this article gathers sequences from eight films where it is possible to feel the pathos of a muffled scream manifested at the moment it can no longer bottle itself up. Once they are displayed together on theboard, these images can activate, from the collective and public nature provided by the exhibition of the movies itself, the energy of an Uprising.
