Resumo: | This paper analyses the cooperation between academia and oil industry through a casestudy. The topic is approached from the literature on innovation systems in its sectoraldimension and includes the description of the Human Resources Formation Program ofNational Petroleum Agency (PRH-ANP). It presents the interdisciplinary andinterdepartmental case of the Program of Economics, Energy Planning and ProductionEngineering in the Oil Industry highlighting the production engineering area. Despite someproblems, the Program has been very well evaluated, not only from the point of view of itsdesign and operation, but also from the immediate results and longer term benefitsachieved for the actors and society of Rio de Janeiro. The Program maintains thecooperation as a central idea, both in the context of the interactions between UFRJ andANP, Petrobras and the other companies in the sector, and within the university. |

O tema é abordado a partir da literatura dos sistemas de inovação em sua dimensão setorial, na qual se insere a descrição do Programa de Formação de Recursos Humanos da Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis (PRH-ANP). A seguir é apresentado o caso interdisciplinar e interdepartamental do Programa de Formação de Recursos Humanos em Economia, Planejamento Energético e Engenharia de Produção na Indústria do Petróleo (PRH-21) da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), sendo nele destacada a formação em engenharia. Este Programa mantém a cooperação como eixo central, tanto no âmbito da universidade, como de suas interações com a ANP, a Petrobras e outras empresas do setor, trazendo resultados e benefícios para os atores e a sociedade fluminense.
