Resumo: In the course of this dissertation, it was possible to investigate how the notion of desire as an axial is used to articulate the foundations of psychoanalysis. For this, the origin of the subject's conception in modern philosophy and the construction / deconstruction of this notion by Freud were first worked on, and then revisited in a second moment, central texts of the Freudian work in order to understand how Freud articulated the the notion of unconscious desire, to finally discuss how Lacan took the notion of desire as central to the structuring of the subject's field. This path has led us to realize that the subject can only emerge in its relation to object a, while it operates through dialectics, taken here as demand / desire and alienation / separation. These dialectics were only possible to be articulated in Lacan's passage from the object of desire to the object of desire, thus marking the central point of this writing.

Para isso, foi trabalhado, em um primeiro momento, a origem da concepção de sujeito na filosofia moderna e a construção/desconstrução dessa noção por Freud ao destituir o sujeito de seu lugar de razão demarcando-o como sujeito dividido, tomado aqui como sujeito sem subjetividade. Num segundomomento, textos centrais da obra freudiana foram revisitados com vistas a depreender como os conceitos freudianos se articulam na construção da noção de desejo para a Psicanálise. Nesse segundo momento, concluí que Freud encontrará na estrutura do aparelho psíquico o fundamento para essa noção de desejo cravada na experiência de satisfação, que, associada à fantasia, buscará a todo custo reencontrar a satisfação mítica através do objeto desde sempre perdido como resultado dessa operação. Já no terceiro capítulo, busquei discutir a apreensão lacaniana sobre o desejo a partir de sua relação com o objeto a, que assume três formas fundamentais: como objeto do desejo, como suporte do desejo e como objeto causa de desejo. Da mesma forma, tornou-se necessária a este trabalho a explicitação de que há, nessa dialética fundamental entre demanda e desejo, outras dialéticas, dentre as quais privilegiei aquela que opera entre a alienação e a separação, que diz do movimento que o sujeito faz no Outro como lugar de endereçamento e de origem. Foi então no ponto em que a dialética diz da identificação do sujeito, no campo do Outro e no lugar do Outro, que a associação entre demanda-alienação e desejo-separação pôde ser feita.
