Resumo: RESUMO: Este trabalho apresenta uma análise crítica dos poemas “A bailarina” e “Estudos para uma bailadora andaluza”, de João Cabral de Melo Neto, com o intuito de discutir a importância da representação da dança em sua lírica, ressaltar a construção imagética nos poemas do autor e entender como é estabelecida essa conexão entre a literatura e a dança. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Literatura Brasileira. João Cabral de Melo Neto. Dança. Lírica.        ABSTRACT: This paperwork shows a critical analysis of the poems “A bailarina” and “Estudos para uma bailadora andaluza”, written by João Cabral de Melo Neto, in order to discuss the representation of dance in Cabral’s lyric, to evidence the construction of images in those poems and to understand how the link between literature and dance are made by the author.
