Resumo: RESUMO: Este artigo investiga as relações entre contexto histórico-social e produção autoral. Sob a ótica de Walter Benjamin, e tomando como ponto de apoio os ensaios Experiência e pobreza e O narrador: considerações sobre a obra de Nikolai Leskov discutem-se as relações entre literatura e sociedade e o modo como a obra Alexandre e outros heróis de Graciliano Ramos conteria exemplos do que Benjamin chama de experiência comunicável. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Graciliano Ramos. História e literatura. Walter Benjamim. Experiência comunicável.        ABSTRACT: This article investigates the relationship between socio-historical context and authorial production. From the Walter Benjamin's perspective, and taking as a point of support the assays Experiência e pobreza (Experience and Poverty) and O Narrador (The Narrator): considerations about the work of Nikolai Leskov, the relationship between literature and society is discussed and the way Graciliano Ramos' work Alexandre e Outros Heróis (Alexandre and Other Heroes) would contain examples of what Benjamin calls communicable experience.
