Resumo: | The essential oil of molasses grass (Melinis minutiflora Beauv.) obtained by steam distillation and the monoterpenes a and b-pinene have been tested against Boophilus microplus larvae showing lethal effect within ten minutes. GC/MS analysis of the molasses grass essential oil allowed the identification of four out of the five major constituents as hexanal, 1,8-cineole, 2,6-di-t-butil-4-methylphenol and 9-(E)-eicosene. The 2,6-di-t-butil-4-methylphenol was found in the diethyl ether used for the extraction of the essential oil. |

Pesquisa Agropecuaria BrasileiraPesquisa Agropecuária BrasileiraPrates, Hélio T.Oliveira, Alaíde B.Leite, Romário C.Craveiro, Afrânio A.1993-05-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/3918Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira; v.28, n.5, maio 1993; 621-625Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira; v.28, n.5, maio 1993; 621-6251678-39210100-104xreponame:Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online)instname:Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)instacron:EMBRAPAporhttps://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/article/view/3918/1209info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2010-03-31T12:49:49Zoai:ojs.seer.sct.embrapa.br:article/3918Revistahttp://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pabPRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phppab@sct.embrapa.br || sct.pab@embrapa.br1678-39210100-204Xopendoar:2010-03-31T12:49:49Pesquisa Agropecuária Brasileira (Online) - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa)false |
