Resumo: It is a study that deals with youth and adult education integrated with vocational education, in an attempt to relate these modes of education and, furthermore, to understand it as a possibility of emancipation of young subjects, considering the assumptions of omnilaterality, integral training and polytechnics. This study analyzes the category of youth in an attempt to understand the assumptions of youth condition in Youth and Adult Education integrated with Vocational Education. To this end, we present a reflection on the relationship between education and work, in order to understand the conception of professional education, establishing a dialogue between education, work and culture. The methodology used was the literature review, which led us to realize that the integration between Youth and Adult Education and vocational education is one of the possibilities to contribute and enable an omnilateral and emancipatory formation of young subjects.

O presente estudo analisa a categoria da juventude, numa tentativa de compreender os pressupostos da condição juvenil na Educação de Jovens e Adultos integrada à Educação Profissional. Para tanto, apresentamos uma reflexão acerca da relação existente entre a educação e o trabalho, de modo que se compreenda a concepção da educação profissional, estabelecendo um diálogo entre educação, trabalho e cultura.
