Resumo: The present work aims to understand how the relationship between individuals and places can be understood by the analysis of corporeities. Reinforcing the role of the body in the individual’s relationship with space is important for us to understand how these bonding links are created, as well as to understand the reflection of identities in corporeities and ways of acting in places. Tuan (1980), Oliveira (2014), Chaveiro (2014), Gomes (2013), Relph (2014) and others provide theoretical support for the understanding of the concept of place and some different views that Human Geography has on this category of geographic science analysis. This article concludes that the relations with the place are given by the experience that individuals have with the space and that the body is the vehicle by which they experience it. Therefore, it is important to reflect on identities and how they influence the connection of individuals with place through corporeity.

Reforzar el papel que el cuerpo tiene en la relación de los sujetos con el espacio es importante para entender cómo esos eslabones son creados, así como entender el reflejo de las identidades en las corporeidades y en las formas de actuar en los lugares. Tuan (1980), Oliveira (2014), Chaveiro (2014), Gomes (2013), Relph (2014), entre otros, dan soporte teórico para la comprensión del concepto de lugar y algunas diferentes visiones que la Geografía Humana tiene sobre esta categoría de análisis de la ciencia geográfica. Este artículo concluye que las relaciones con el lugar son dadas por la experiencia que los sujetos tienen con el espacio y que el cuerpo es el vehículo por el cual los individuos tienen su vivencia. Por lo tanto, se hace importante la reflexión sobre las identidades y cómo aparecen en la conexión de los sujetos con el lugar a través de las corporeidades.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender como a relação entre os sujeitos e os lugares pode ser compreendida pela análise das corporeidades. Reforçar o papel que o corpo tem na relação dos sujeitos com o espaço é importante para entendermos como esses elos são criados, bem como entender o reflexo das identidades nas corporeidades e nas formas de agir nos lugares. Tuan (1980), Oliveira (2014), Chaveiro (2014), Gomes (2013), Relph (2014) entre outros, dão suporte teórico para a compreensão do conceito de lugar e algumas diferentes visões que a Geografia Humana tem sobre esta categoria de análise da ciência geográfica. Este artigo conclui que as relações com o lugar são dadas pela experiência que os sujeitos têm com o espaço e que o corpo é o veículo pelo qual os indivíduos têm a vivência dele.
