Resumo: This text is part of a research project about religious understanding among students of basic education and higher education to establish assumptions for the construction of a curriculum of religious education and "religious culture" from the perspective of Brazilian religious diversity. The results presented here conducted among 72 university students between 18 and 35 who attend an academic institution of social and exact sciences in the Paraná area. Simultaneasly the study gathered information of younger students thus contributing to the discussion about religious education in different segments of basic education.

Simultaneasly the study gathered information of younger students thus contributing to the discussion about religious education in different segments of basic education.Este texto é parte de um projeto de pesquisa sobre a compreensão religiosa entre estudantes da educação básica e do ensino superior visando estabelecer pressupostos para a construção de um currículo do ensino religioso e a cultura religiosa na perspectiva da diversidade religiosa brasileira. Os resultados aqui apresentados são de 72 estudantes universitários de uma instituição educacional do Paraná das áreas de exatas e sociais aplicadas, na faixa etária entre 18 e 35 anos, fazem parte do projeto piloto para identificação da leitura religiosa deste grupo para progressivamente construirmos eixos e uma estrutura curricular especificamente para a disciplina de cultura religiosa que complementa a formação profissional na graduação em algumas instituições confissionais de ensino superior.
