Resumo: Study in order to reveal the perception of people with Alzheimer's disease caregivers about their future prospects. Phenomenological research based on Maurice Merleau-Ponty; developed in Bahia, Brazil; experiential production December/2015 to January/2016. It noted that the fact of being caregiver impossible not to go in search of the future planned, but opens up the possibility of inclusion of new projects. We note that the experiences lead us to transcend.

La investigación fenomenológica sobre la base de Maurice Merleau-Ponty; desarrollada en Bahia, Brasil; la producción experimental diciembre/2015 a enero/2016. Se observó que el hecho de ser cuidador imposible no impede el logro de un futuro planeado, se abre la posibilidad de la inclusión de nuevos proyectos. Observamos que las experiencias nos llevan a transcender la misión de cuidar.Palabras clave: Mayores; Enfermedad de Alzheimer; Cuidador.Este estudo objetiva desvelar a percepção de cuidadores de pessoas com Doença de Alzheimer sobre suas perspectivas de futuro. Pesquisa fenomenológica fundamentada em Maurice Merleau-Ponty; desenvolvida no interior da Bahia, Brasil; produção vivencial de dezembro/2015 a janeiro/2016. Evidenciamos que o fato de estar cuidador, além de não impossibilitar a conquista do futuro planejado, abre a possibilidade de inclusão de novos projetos.
