Resumo: The 4C model was adapted from the collaboration 3C model with the aim to analyze and propose improvements to the Hybrid User Centered Development Methodology (HUCDM). This methodology is a simple, iterative and incremental development process. It is based on structured disciplined development processes, on principles of User Centered Design (UCD) processes, as well as on practices and values of agile methods for software development. The HUCDM is being implemented in a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) of educational resources development. The first resource that was based in this methodology was the Courseware Sere - The Human Being and the Natural Resources. Based on the model 4C dimensions: Communication, Coordination, Cooperation and Collaboration was analyzed the interactions between elements of the multidisciplinary team that developed this educational resource. We present the results relative to the “Communication” dimension. The analysis rested on posts embedded in forums available on moodle (which served as a groupware tool). The results of MHDCU enabled to detect limitations and propose improvements.
