Contributions of PIBID Biology to teacher training at CES/UFCG

Resumo: This work aimed at researching the relevance of the Scholarship Institutional Programme for Beginning Teacher (PIBID) from CES campus at Federal University of Campina Grande. The research was done in a qualitative approach and did application of open questionnaires, in which the licentiate degree students reported their experiences resulted from the mentioned program. The results show that the PIBID participants recognize: improvements in the relations between school / university and theory / practice, ways to face difficulties encountered in training and identification with teaching, with the construction of collective work and with research at school. We conclude and identify the PIBID as an increasing politics for teacher training that takes teaching quality as a fight in favor of the citizenship developing and democracy around our country.

We conclude and identify the PIBID as an increasing politics for teacher training that takes teaching quality as a fight in favor of the citizenship developing and democracy around our country.  O trabalho teve como finalidade investigar a relevância do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) à formação inicial de professores de Biologia do Centro de Educação e Saúde (CES), Campus da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande-PB. A pesquisa inseriu-se numa abordagem qualitativa e realizou-se mediante a aplicação de questionários abertos, nos quais os licenciandos relataram suas vivências oportunizadas pelo referido programa. Concluímos identificando o PIBID como política de melhoria para a formação docente, que elege a qualidade do ensino como condição de luta em prol da construção da cidadania e da democracia no Brasil.
