Construction and analysis of an inquiry-based teaching sequence: the necessary connections with inquiry-based teaching

Resumo: This article aims to describe the process of elaborating an Inquiry-Based Teaching Sequence and to analyze it from the perspective of Inquiry-Based Teaching, seeking elements of the didactic approach. The survey data were obtained from meetings between a researcher in the area of Science teaching and a teacher from the early years of Elementary School, for the construction of an Inquiry-Based Teaching Sequence (SEI). These meetings were recorded, transcribed and analyzed based on literature on Science Teaching by investigation. The results point to an appreciation of the school-university partnership, since it was a collaborative research, describing the process of building an SEI and the approximations of the material produced with elements of the Inquiry-Based Teaching didactic approach.

Los datos fueron obtenidos a partir de encuentros entre un investigador del área de enseñanza de las Ciencias y un docente de los primeros años de la Enseñanza Fundamental, para la construcción de una Secuencia de Enseñanza Investigativa (SEI). Estos encuentros fueron grabados, transcritos y analizados a la luz de la literatura sobre la Enseñanza de las Ciencias por la investigación. Los resultados apuntan para una apreciación de la asociación escuela-universidad, ya que fue una investigación colaborativa, describe el proceso de construcción de un SEI y las aproximaciones del material producido con elementos del enfoque didáctico Enseñanza por Investigación.O presente artigo tem por objetivo descrever o processo de elaboração de uma Sequência de Ensino Investigativo e analisá-la sob a ótica do Ensino por Investigação, buscando elementos da abordagem didática. Os dados foram obtidos a partir das reuniões entre um pesquisador da área de ensino de Ciências e uma professora dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, para construção de uma Sequência de Ensino Investigativo (SEI).
