This present dissertation of master s degree aims investigate the representation of female gender in teaching of teachers of Colégio Municipal Amaral Peixoto. Founded in march 23th of 1953 in São Gonçalo county, the school has come devoting to Elementary School of children, teenagers and adults. With our research we try analyzed how the teaching, hegemonically performed by women, has been perceived and built in instituition. Our objective, on the one hand, it was problematize how the representations of females roles came being constituting in instituition and, on the other hand, it was investigated the implications of concept of gender at exercices of teach from the 1990s. We adopted mapping, selection and analyzis of documents. We analyzed record books of supervision, registration forms of teachers, legislation, results in minutes, school sensus and one publication about the instituition. We realize interviews witch teachers, ex-students, student s responsable, leaders and other professionals of instituition looking the elucidation of issues proposals. How bibliographical reference, we used Louro (2012), Badinter (1985), Nóvoa (1999), Glat and Pletsch (2012), Chartier (1990), Huberman (1996), Freire (1996), among others.
