Academic writing in the context of professional and technological education: a systematic review of the literature

Resumo: This paper aimed to present a systematic review of the literature around academic writing in the context of Vocational and Technological Education, in the period from 2002 to 2021. To substantiate the article, a referential was built that addresses the academic writing, in a first moment, and then, it deals with technology courses in Brazil. Regarding the methodological aspects, a systematic literature review was carried out in the portals/databases SciELO Brazil and Google Scholar, having as initial result 163 records. Of this total, 155 were excluded for being duplicates in the databases or for being printed books or for not being available in full in digital format. Thus, the final analysis included a total of eight works, being three scientific articles, three master's dissertations, one book chapter, and a Course Conclusion Paper. As main results, it was found that the mapped investigations deal with the following aspects of the academic writing in/for the Vocational and Technological Education: the construction of the abstract textual genre in the TCC, the use of the podcast as a teaching method of academic writing, the writing of the academic article from the sociorhetorical approach, the academic-scientific literacy, the elaboration of the Interdisciplinary Coursework, the use and influence of digital technologies in reading and writing practices that occur in the academic sphere and the cohesive aspects in the production of academic articles. Based on the identified works, even though only eight productions about academic writing in/for technology courses were found, the mapping carried out can contribute to mitigate the idea that the technological modality should be reduced to a strictly professional education nature, with little insertion in the context of scientific research.

Para fundamentar o artigo, construiu-se um referencial que aborda a EC, num primeiro momento, e depois, trata-se dos cursos de tecnologia no Brasil. No que diz respeito aos aspectos metodológicos, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática da literatura nos portais/bases de dados SciELO Brasil e Google Scholar, tendo como resultado inicial 163 registros. Desse total, 155 foram excluídos por estarem duplicados nas bases ou por se tratar de livros impressos ou por não estarem disponível na íntegra em formato digital. Dessa maneira, a análise final contemplou um total de oito trabalhos, sendo três artigos científicos, três dissertações de mestrado, um capítulo de livro e um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC). Como principais resultados, encontrou-se que as investigações mapeadas tratam dos seguintes aspectos da EC em/para a EPT: a construção do gênero textual abstract no TCC, a utilização do podcast como método de ensino da EC, a escrita do artigo acadêmico desde a abordagem sociorretórica, o letramento acadêmico-científico, a elaboração do Trabalho Interdisciplinar de curso, o uso e a influência das tecnologias digitais nas práticas de leitura e escrita que ocorrem na esfera acadêmica e os aspectos coesivos na produção de artigos acadêmicos.
