Resumo: Plant Anatomy studies the internal parts of plants, taking on an interdisciplinary character to enrich its research. In the academic environment, it is often presented as a difficult and discouraging discipline. Thus, we investigated the perception of Biological Sciences undergraduates at FECLI/UECE about Plant Anatomy. The understanding of Plant Anatomy was considered relevant, important and with an interdisciplinary approach by the participants; however, they highlighted as a negative aspect the high specificity of the nomenclatural terms and the limited workload for the content. The form of teaching most learned was the practical classes and the content review was mentioned as a method for studying at home. Among the subjects studied, leaf anatomy was cited, simultaneously, as one of the easiest and one of the most difficult subjects. This shows a fragmented learning of concepts in certain points of the content and makes us reflect on methodologies that aim for more meaningful teaching-learning.
