Summary: The objective of this study was to verify the compatibility of training activities with the needs by the University, to ascertain the perceptions of employees about the effectiveness of the training program between 2010 and 2011. The research was conducted at the Federal University of Pernambuco, with employees Technical-Administrators in the Education of Rectory. The results were based on analysis of the questionnaire applied to employees, documents and interviews granted by Coordination. Most of the respondents was of the PROGEPE (18), but also are in the Class D (level medium), with aged of 40 to 59 years and time of service from 21 to 29 years. The degree of interest of the employees obtained a very good index, especially the monitoring of changes occurring in the workplace (77%). Other topics analyzed in the questionnaire, in general, the results had a good level of agreement. But, the levels of agreement to can for that the employees have no doubts about the interest of the University in the development of people.

A pesquisa de campo descritiva foi realizada na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, com os servidores Técnico-Administrativos em Educação da Reitoria. Os resultados obtidos foram baseados na análise do questionário aplicados aos servidores, documentos e entrevistas cedidos pela Coordenação. A maior parte dos respondentes foi da PROGEPE (18), como também, estão relacionados na Classe D (nível médio), faixa etária de 40 a 59 anos e tempo de serviço de 21 a 29 anos. O grau de interesse dos servidores obteve um índice muito bom, destacando o acompanhamento das mudanças que acontecem no ambiente de trabalho (77%). Os outros temas abordados no questionário, de um modo geral, os resultados tiveram um bom índice de concordância.
