Resumo: The issue of mental health, quality of life, work stress, Burnout Syndrome and a sense of Selfefficacy and it?s relation to the work, as well as it?s impact on individuals/subjects/workers in the case of this teachers/professionals education, specifically in the organizational context, represented by the campuses or administrative units of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Roraima Technology - IFRR, considering the failure or poor literature, inaccurate and outdated data, that compromise the establishment and implementation of policies and programs institutional public, which may minimize the effects of suffering and illness in organizations regarding the mental health of them. Like this, the main objective of this research, was the investigation of Burnout Syndrome and Self-efficacy Feeling in IFRR faculty. Since both variables have been noteadoras in area studies, considering the association/correlation of variables with each other, in the case of this study with issues of age, campus of origin, function - manager and no manager - and gender/sex. Burnout Syndrome is understood as withdrawal syndrome, which appears as a prolonged period of unsuccessful attempts to cope with stressful situations. The syndrome can be characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of fulfillment at work. Self-efficacy is defined as the perception that the individual has the conditions to be successful in many professional and personal challenges they face in everyday life. Therefore, the Burnout Syndrome and Self-efficacy were considered as variables in this study based on indicators, among that we highlight: 1) self-efficacy life in general; 2) self-efficacy as a teacher and finally 3) the self-efficacy of teachers from the belief about the impact that education has on the lives of students. So, to a greater understanding of the problems faced by labor/organizational teachers, which this study was performed, initially, from a pilot study with 30 (thirty) teachers of 03 (three) campuses IFRR in operation, namely: Amajari Campus, Campus Boa Vista and Campus Novo Para?so, with the selection of ten (10) teachers. Subsequently, they were applied three (03) Likert Scales comprising the following instruments: MBI (Maslash Burnout Inventary), Perceived Self-Efficacy General Scale and Teaching Self-Efficacy Scale in 126 (one hundred twenty-six) technical teaching/educators of IFRR crowded in the aforementioned campuses, which voluntarily agreed to participate in this study. The results indicated as hypothesis of the study, a negative association with the burnout syndrome Self-Efficacy. This implies that there were no significant differences between men and women in the study variables. And managers have significantly higher levels of depersonalization, while participants/subjects have lower indices of depersonalization and higher self-efficacy rates as teachers. In this sense, the research aims to give visibility to mental health from the perspective of psychological constructs - Burnout Syndrome and Selfefficacy Feeling - teachers/professionals IFRR education, from the relationships and interactions in organizational or labor context. Therefore, the research focused quantitative approach, and the data collection was based on the bibliography and field research, applying questionnaire and Likert-type scales to 156 (one hundred and fifty-six) participants/subjects in the years 2013 and 2015.

Made available in DSpace on 2022-04-11T13:18:24Z (GMT). description The issue of mental health, quality of life, work stress, Burnout Syndrome and a sense of Selfefficacy and it?s relation to the work, as well as it?s impact on individuals/subjects/workers in the case of this teachers/professionals education, specifically in the organizational context, represented by the campuses or administrative units of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Roraima Technology - IFRR, considering the failure or poor literature, inaccurate and outdated data, that compromise the establishment and implementation of policies and programs institutional public, which may minimize the effects of suffering and illness in organizations regarding the mental health of them.
