Resumo: The objective of this work is to present a set of activities for teaching geometric progressions and probabilities in detail (didactic sequences), starting and interweaving the teaching steps with a collection of curious and thought-provoking problems, in order to maintain attention and interest of high school students. This work argues that motivation is the fundamental tool for the student to turn their attention and energy to the class, and that the use of a motivating problem at the right time in class can provoke the necessary provocation so that the student gives a chance to what is being presented. The taught tutorial shows how to insert traditionally motivating problems such as the allowance problem, the Zen?o paradox, the birthday problem and several others into a class so that they are points of attraction for the subjects taught. Features such as LibreOffice and web pages also complement the motivating tools used in classes.

O tutorial ensinado mostra como inserir problemas tradicionalmente motivadores como o problema da mesada, o paradoxo de Zen?o, o problema dos anivers?rios e outros v?rios numa aula de forma que sejam pontos de atra??o para os assuntos ministrados.
